What a great experience! We traveled from Florida to see the aquarium for our daughter's birthday. It was so much fun! The sharks and specifically the whale shark were so cool! Planning another trip soon. Elevan million gallons of water and over 152 species of fish along with other cool marine life and exhibits. Such fun!

Everything was so organized. The first floor so pretty and elegant with those Christmas trees. And the most important part is all those animals looked healthy!

I proposed to my girlfriend at the shark exhibit. She thought it was just another visit to another attraction here in Atlanta. She is from Alaska, so this was her first time ever visiting an aquarium. Now it will forever be rememberable.

Everything went well! Only thing I will say there wasn't an option to skip the line. The aquarium was nice, food and gift shop are RIDICULOUSLY expensive especially the food, they should be ashamed of themselves. The dolphin show and the sea lion show were nice the kids love it. Definitely do not sit in splash zones for either if you do not have a change of clothes.

Good: I really liked the sharks, beluga whales and jellyfish. The exhibition is very nice, it's best to download the map for orientation directly at the info point. Bad: The "land animals" penguins will never see the sun or smell real air in their lives. The flamingos looked "sad"

I really enjoyed the ease of being able to book my ticket to the Atlanta Georgia Aquarium from the Delta Airlines flight while flying back from Johannesburg, South Africa, on the direct flight to Atlanta, Georgia. I was over the Atlantic ocean planning my 6-hour layover break. I was able to easily make my way from the International terminal on the internal airport tram to ground transportation, get to the Georgia Aquarium on Baker street, from the booking, and skip to the front of the line for a picture and easily enter the aqarium using the booking barcode. Of course, the aquarium information desk was very helpful in directing me to the main exhibits and I was able to see all and get back on time, for my direct Delta flight on to San Diego. What a magical experience!

It took us 2 hrs to roam the whole aquarium. The whale shark and beluga whales are majestic! Though we weren't able to watch the sea lion and dolphin shows so just make sure that first thing you do when you get inside is make a reservation to the shows.

It was easy to navigate and could be done in 2 to 3 hours. One tip is book the shows right away using the posted QR codes. The holidays are best to visit because of the decor. Great aquatic display.
